- about pretending to eat plastic food and drinking air out of a plastic play cup, and complimenting the cook on the fabulous meal. 4.28.2009
- realizing that a million pictures are wonderful, but it only takes one to take you back to the memory.
- about riding amusement park rides called “Plankton’s Plunge” instead of the “Drop Tower”. (at King’s Island)
- about realizing how cheap yet valuable happy meal toys can be.

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009The Brain VS. The Mind
I am starting a new category called “Brain Research” at darkbluesun.com for the information that used to reside at sybil.webnode.com. The category will house posts to be devoted to the study of the brain vs. mind. Please do not accept any information from this site to self diagnose any type of neurological disorder. If you think you might have one of those, then you need to visit a board certified physician for advice. Disorders like depression, anxiety, ADD, MPD, and so many others that also have letters are so obviously plaguing our society. Are we on information overload? How much of the complexity of our society is the source of the problem?

Perspective
Sunday, April 26th, 2009People are born to be judgmental. . .
We all have a point of view, therefore we judge the world according to what we see.
Some are more “out loud” about it than others.
The backward thinkers are those who believe that their point of view
is the right point of view. This blog will never change the way a backward thinker thinks.
But, my whole life I have loved to take the side of what you might call the “devil’s advocate“.
Not to glamorize the devil or anything, but just to show that we are all different for a reason.
I am not going to pretend for a minute that any post I publish should be agreed with
or is in any way based on straight facts. In fact, the opposite it true.
These are stories about situations in my life, they are based on my opinions and the way I see things.
If you like what I write, then let me know. If not, you are entitled to your opinion.
After all, what would this international network thing (aka the Internet) be good for,
if we didn’t learn from each other?

Beautiful Life
Saturday, April 25th, 2009It was Frank Lloyd Write who said,”The longer I live, the more beautiful life becomes. . .”
It’s all about looking back, and making some sort of sense out of the experiences of my life.
This used to be the “about page” quote on my old blog hindsightblind.wordpress.com. Posted on 4/25/09. It didn’t really fit anywhere, but that’s the point of having a blog isn’t it? Not everything fits nicely in a category.
